Beautiful island and beach. Nice and special place to visit if come to 海中道路。 The natural sound make people feld relax.
According to a legend, this is a place where the God, creator Ryukyu islands, rest in peace. There is a local mythology saying that if you visit this spot, you'll have a baby.
Here you can see deformed rocks by the power of water. When the tide is low, it's possible to make a half circle around.
At the entrance of the spot there is a very polite senior local lady selling coffee and sweets from red beans. There can be seen 2 cats (orange and black) resting in the shadow. Lady is selling coffee ☕️ to collect money for treatment for another very sick cat.
Passed by here by accident, but it’s quite beautiful. If no rush, it’s worth to stop by and take pictures.

I regret not reading all the reviews! Okinawa salt is the best! They do sell iced coffee since thst is what they offered us.
